The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority retained Rakowski Cartage and Wrecking to demolish the former 6 story nurses’ residence at the corner of Sherbrook Street and Wolseley Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The project included the hazardous materials removal and interior demolition of the structure, followed by the conventional top-down demolition using a high reach demolition excavator within the tight confines of the site.
